West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Friday tried in vain to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his Nation-wide Address to the Farmers. She went to make a false claim by casting aspersions on Prime Minister Modi as she said that Prime Minister demonstrated his obvious concern towards the Farmers through his Nationwide Televised address to the Farmers rather than proactively working to resolve their issues.
While PM Modi publicly claimed his intention to help the farmers of West Bengal State through Prime Minister Kisan Yojana (PMKY) while the reality is that He is aiming to mislead the people with half-truth, she said.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar commenting on West Bengal Chief Minister's statement said that it's a matter of concern for me that the Farmers of West Bengal could not benefit from Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. "As Governor, I've repeatedly approached the Chief Minister regarding this issue but none of my letters have been answered", Governor adds.
