Punjab announces two weeks curfew, lockdown will be lifted from 7-11AM daily

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amrinder Singh on Wednesday announced to extend the curfew for two more weeks after May 3. In his statement CM said from 7AM to 11 AM everyday lockdown will be given relaxation in Punjab State. The order will be implemented after May 3 in Punjab state only & as a precautionary measure, keeping financial & essential commodities' demand in mind the decision is taken.

Coronavirus Lockdown will be lifted from 7 am to 11 am every day; during this time people can come out of their houses and shops will be opening, said CM Amrinder Singh.  

Punjab announces two weeks curfew

On Wednesday, Punjab CM laid down the order to relieve lockdown in state for four hours daily after May 3. In his press briefing CM said, we have decided to extend the curfew in the state by two more weeks after May 3, however from 7-11AM lockdown will be lifted.

In combating COVID-19 Punjab CM announces to extend curfew for two more weeks. The nation-wide lockdown was imposed on Math 25 to prevent the spread of Coronavirus which was to end on April 14, but in the same row lockdown with some relive extended to May 3, by Prime Minister Modi.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh after discussing the stage situation and Covid19 impact on state with Prime Minister Modi on Monday in Video Conference meeting, expressed his views. In Punjab so far 322 cases of Coronavirus have been reported and out of those 71 people have been cured with 19 death casualties.
