GATE Admit Card 2022 Download Link released at gate.iitkgp.ac.in, Know How to Download

On Saturday, January 15, IIT Kharagpur released the GATE 2022 admit card on the official website, gate.iitkgp.ac.in. Candidates who have their exams on February 05 to 13, 2022 can download GATE 2022 admit card on the official website using the login credentials like registration id and password. The admit card that was initially scheduled to be released on January 03, 2021, was postponed owing to certain undisclosed reasons.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is going to be held across the country to provide admission to candidates in higher learning programmes i.e. M.SC, M.Tech, etc. Candidates who successfully clear the exam with minimum marks will stand a chance to get admission to the coveted IITs that offer these courses.

Now, as the admit card of GATE 2022 has been released, the candidates can download the same by visiting the official website of GATE 2022, gate.iitkgp.ac.in. On landing on the homepage, they have to click on the GATE 2022 admit card link and move to the next page. Next, enter the enrollment number and password on the login page along with the captcha code and click on the login button to submit the details. Candidates are advised to go through the details of the GATE admit card and make sure that all the details available on the same are clearly printed. They have to make sure that none of the details i.e. details printed have printing or spelling errors. The authorities have also provided a lot of instructions on the admit card that all test takers have to abide by while going to appear for the examination.

Candidates who do not remember their login credentials like enrolment number or password will be provided with the option to retrieve the same. For the same, they have to click on forgot enrolment number or password. Next, candidates have to enter their email address or mobile number to get the OTP. Post entering the OTP, the enrolment number will be displayed on the screen or they will provide the option to reset the password for the GATE 2022 exam.

Earlier, speculations were made regarding the Postponement of the GATE 2022 exam due to Covid-19, but clarifying its status Institute decided to hold the exam amid increasing Covid-19 threat.
