The West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) has successfully conducted the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET) 2022 on Sunday, January 09, 2022. The examination is held for 33 subjects comprising two papers namely Paper-I and Paper-II. As when the examination is over, the commission is expected to soon release the WB SET 2022 official answer key. The answer key shall be released anytime soon on the website wbcsc.org.in.
WB SET answer key 2022 will be released in a pdf file. It will carry the provisional solutions of the questions asked in X, Y, Z, & D booklet codes. It should be noted that the initially released answer key will be a provisional draft which a candidate can refer to raise objections, in case of a wrong answer. Only candidates who have appeared in the State Eligibility Test will be eligible to lodge objections. A notice stating how to raise an objection, objection fee (if any), and last date will also be displayed.
According to the media reports, WB SET 2022 examination for Paper-1 was held for those interested in teaching classes 1-5 from 09:30 am to 10:30 am. The second paper exam for candidates who intend to teach classes 6-8 was held from 11:00 to 01:00 pm. It is reported that in WB SET Paper-I, a total of 50 questions were asked while in Paper-II, a total of 100 questions were asked.
The overall difficulty levels of paper 1 and paper 2 were easy and moderate in difficulty. Although the eligibility test was held in pen-paper format, the multiple-choice questions asked in the examination were objective type in nature.

WB SET General Paper Analysis:
The General Paper a moderate in difficulty, contained multiple-choice type questions from on Teaching and Research Aptitude contained questions from several Units including Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension, Communication, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation (wherever applicable), ICT, People Development and Higher Education System.
