NTA on Sunday, January 09 conducts the AISSEE 2022 for class 6 and class 9 admissions. The pen-paper based exam is reportedly held successfully following the COVID guidelines at centres across the country. Below is the unofficial AISSEE 2022 answer key and paper analysis from educators.

National Testing Agency on January 09, 2022 (Sunday) conducted the All India Sainik School Entrace Examination (AISSEE) 2022 for classes 6 and 9 admissions. The pre-admission entrance test is conducted from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (IST) in pen-paper mode in 176 cities across India. Students who appear in AISSEE 2022 can now check the class 6 and class 9 paper analysis shared by the top educators. AISSEE 2022 official answer key is scheduled to be released in last week of January.

As per the schedule, AISSEE 2022 for class 6 is held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm and for Class 9 the exam took place from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The entrance exam was consisting of multiple-choice questions had to be answered on the OMR-sheets disbursed among the students at the examination centers.

As a precautionary measure for COVID-19, candidates were given instructions to reach the exam centre at the time as indicated against the reporting and entry time in the admit card.

AISSEE Class 6 Paper Analysis

The duration of examination for Class 6 was 150 minutes. Sainik School Class 6 entrance exam consisted of two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. Paper I Mathematical knowledge test for 100 marks and Language ability test conducted for 100 marks. Paper II containing questions based on Intelligence test contained 100 marks. Paper I was held for a duration of two hours followed by paper II for 50 minutes.

In English questions were based on topics namely Comprehension Passage, Nounds, Sentence formation, Antonyms & Synonyms, Verbs, Preposition, Idiom & Pharases, Fill in the blanks, Tenses, etc. In mathematics, questions were based on Number system, Fractions & Decimals, Commercial Mathematics, Geometry and Mensuration. Questions based on GK and Current Affairs were easy, said educators while elaborating the paper analysis.

AISSEE 2022: Class 9 Paper Analysis

The maximum marks in the Class 9 entrance examination are 400. Candidates were given a time duration of 180 minutes to attempt all questions.

In order to qualify the AISSEE 2022, students have to score 25% marks in each subject and a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate. While for the reserved category students there is no criteria of qualifying marks.

The AISSEE 2022 official answer key, however, will be released in last week of January at aissee.nta.nic.in. NTA will display the answer key and students response sheet on the website aissee.nta.nic.in. With the release of the answer key, students will be able to recheck their response sheet and NTA decided answers. 

According to the tentative schedule, the AISSEE 2022 result will be declared in February 2022. The final selection list will be released after medical tests in April 2022. Students with age 10 to 12 appear for the class 6 while the age criteria for class 9 admission is 13 to 15 years. Admissions take place on the merit basis of score obtained in the AISSEE and document verification.
