Delhi University 1st Cut off 2021; Check College-Wise List, Documents Required & Updates Here

Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (DCAC) has released its first cut-off list in 2021. The highest cut-off, 99 percent is for B.Com Hons. General category candidates with 97.75 percent can compete for admission into B.A Program. First College-wise cut-off is shared below.

Delhi College The University of Delhi has scheduled to release its first cut-off 2021 for Friday, October 01. The first cut-off list for Under Graduate B.A, B.Sc, B.Com (Program and Hons) courses will be released by all participating colleges/ institutes and the same will be displayed on the official website of the varsity i.e du.ac.in. The admission process is to commence on October 04, 2021 (10:00 am) and will remain till October 07, 2021 (5:00 pm).

Once the cut-off is released, colleges have to complete the admission approvals against 1st Cut-Off till October 07, 2021 (5:00 pm). Students whose top-four subjects' marks match the cut-off of a particular course/college have to make payment of admission fee till October 08, 2021 (5:00 pm). The second cut-off list is scheduled for October 09, 2021.

According to the past year's trends, several of the university colleges voluntarily release their cut-offs on respective websites hours before the official release. Hence, the first cut-off list which is scheduled on 1st October 2021 at the University website du.ac.in might get released on Thursday, September 30. In view of this candidates are advised to keep a check on the website for the latest updates.

Note: The release of the cut-off list by different colleges is a continuous process. As soon a college releases its list, we will try our best to update it here. So, the candidates are asked to keep a check at the website.  

Delhi University Cut-off Formula: 

The cut-off list is prepared by the respective colleges using the best-of-four method considering the marks obtained by the students in their class XII board exams. These entries serve as the basis for computing the total marks for program-specific combinations of best of four for admission in UG courses through the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Mathematical Sciences, Music, Social Sciences, Applied Social Sciences & Humanities, and best-of-three subjects for admission in programs under faculties of Sciences and Applied Sciences.

This academic year, the university has scheduled to release five cut-offs. However, if the seats remain vacant further cut-offs can be released on later dates.

Documents Required at the time of Admission: 

The applicants shall be required to produce the following documents in original with two-sets of self-attested copies at the time of admission/counseling. 

  1. The applicant must bring a copy of the Online University Registration Form.
  2. The applicant must bring a copy of the Aadhar Card
  3. Class X Certificate indicating the Date of Birth and Parents’ names (The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ CW/ KM must match with the names that appear on the corresponding reservation certificates; similarly their parents’ names must be same in both sets of certificates).
  4. Class X Marks-Sheet.
  5. Class XII Marks-Sheet.
  6. Class XII Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate.
  7. SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ CW/ KM Certificate
  8. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate
  9. EWS Certificate in the prescribed format 
  10. At least four passport size self-attested photographs.

Admission Grievance Cell: The university has set an online Central Admission Grievance Redressal Committee. In addition to that, every college also has its own Grievance Redressal Committee. Candidates can send an email by using the link provided on the University Undergraduate Portal under the 'Grievance' tab. The names of College Grievance Committee (CGC) Members is also displayed on the website of the college.
