NEET-PG Counselling 2021 Full Schedule Released; Registration, Choice Filling & Allotment Result Dates Here

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the full schedule of NEET-PG counseling 2021. According to the schedule, the registration for round 1 counseling will commence on January 12. While the result will be declared on January 22.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is going to conduct NEET-PG Counselling 2021 starting with publication and verification of seat matrix on January 07. The round 1 seat matrix verification will take place from January 07 to 19, 2022. While, the NEET-PG counseling round 1 registration is to commence on January 12, 2022. The committee will conduct the counseling in two rounds followed by a mop-up round for All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed, Central University Seats, and PG DNB seats.

NEET PG aspirants are hereby informed that the final and full schedule has been released for online PG Counselling (MD, MS, Diploma, PG DNB Courses) for NEET 50% All India Quota and 100% Deemed, Central Universities, AFMS, and 100% of PG DNB seats for the academic year 2021. NEET-PG 2021 qualified candidates can register online for the NEET PG counseling starting from January 12, 2022, onwards. The registration and choice filling or locking window will open at the official website mcc.nic.in.

According to the schedule, NEET-PG counseling registration for round 1 will be made from January 12, 2022 to January 17, 2022 up to 12:00 noon. While the eligible candidates can fill their choices from January 13 to 17, 2022 up to 11:55 pm. The choice locking window will remain open from January 17, 2022, from 03:00 PM to 11:55 PM. 

Verification of Internal Candidates by the respective Universities or Institutes will be done on January 18 and 19. Seat Allotment processing is scheduled from January 20 to 21, 2022. Subsequently, the NEET PG seat allotment round 1 result will be declared on January 22, 2022. Those who are named in the round 1 allotment result have to report from January 23 to 28, 2022.

While, the 2nd round of counseling will start from February 01, 2022, with the publication and verification of seats after the first round. The registration for counseling round 2 will commence on February 03 and remain open till January 07. Allotment results will be declared on February 12, 2022. While reporting of the candidates will take place from February 13 to 19.

NEET PG mop-up round registration will start on February 24 and remain open till 28. Choice filling and locking process will take place from February 25 to 28. Subsequently, allotment results will be out on March 05, 2022, reads the counseling schedule.

It should be noted that MCC of DGHS will conduct counseling for the following Institutions and Universities- 

  1. 50% All India Quota seats of all states (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats).
  2. 100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions as provided by the respective college/institute.
  3. 100% seats of Deemed Universities.
  4. 50% AIQ PG seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
  5. Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only Registration part).

Earlier, the Supreme Court of India in its interim order gave a nod to the concerned authorities to start the counseling soon. Further, the bench advocated the existing reservation criteria of 27% for OBC and 10% for EWS categories. The criteria of the annual income of 8 lakh will also remain applicable for the academic year, said Supreme Court on Friday in its verdict. Later, the central government announced that the counseling to begin from January 12.
