UP Lekhpal Syllabus 2022; Expected Exam Date, Pattern, Previous Year Paper & Marking Scheme Here

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the recruitment notification for 8085 posts of Lekhpal. The commission invites online applications from candidates from January 07, 2022, to February 04, 2022. While applying for the UPSSSC Lekhpal posts candidates are hereby provided with the Lekhpal syllabus, exam pattern, & marking scheme for the OMR-based written examination. Those who are applying may go through the tentative Lekhpal syllabus and ensure their preparations accordingly.

In order to recruit eligible and suitable candidates for 8085 posts of Lekhpal, UPSSSC will conduct OMR-based written examinations at centers across Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be held for a total of 100 marks. Below are the Lekhpal exam syllabus, pattern, and marking scheme.

UPSSSC Lekhpal Exam Date:

According to the Lekhpal recruitment notification 2022, a separate intimation regarding the exam date and syllabus will be made by the concerned authority. Further, it is expected that the commission shall issue the exam date notification shortly on its official website upsssc.nic.in.

According to the media reports, the exam shall likely be conducted in April-May 2022. However, the official Lekhpal examination date has not been decided yet. The commission will conduct the Revenue Lekhpal Main Examination in multiple shifts. Hence, the normalization will be implemented to define the result.

UP Lekhpal Exam Scheme:

In the Lekhpal examination, as many as 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked. Each question carries 1 mark for the correct response. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for the incorrect response. 

UP Lekhpal written examination will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours time duration to attempt all the questions. Questions divided into four sections will be asked from General Hindi, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Village Society and Development. Each section will contain 25 MCQs. The exam will take place in pen-paper and offline mode. Candidates will be given OMR sheets inside the examination hall.

UP Lekhpal Syllabus:

General Hindi: In the Hindi section, questions will be based on Hindi Grammar including- Nouns, Antonyms, Synonyms, One word substitution, Tense, Gender, Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Correction, Unseen Passage, etc. 

Mathematics: In the mathematics section, questions will be asked from Arithmetic and Statistics, Algebra, and Geometry.

General Knowledge: General Science, National & International Importance Current Affairs, Indian History & National Movements, Indian Administration, World Geography & Population, Indian Politics, Daily Experience & Training, General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh, Computer Knowledge, etc.

Village Society & Development: Questions will be asked from Village Development in National perspective, Village Development Programme, Development related Government schemes & management, Village Development Research Systems, Land Reform, the Tripple layer Panchayat Raj Scheme, Central, and State Level Village Development schemes, etc.

It should be noted that the detailed Lekhpal syllabus will also be issued on the website upsssc.gov.in syllabus section. Hence, the aspiring candidates are asked to keep a check on the website from time to time.
