CBSE rationalizes Syllabus up to 30% for Classes 9 to 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announces to rationalize the Syllabus of classes 9 to 12. “Considering the importance of learning achievement, it has been decided to rationalize the CBSE syllabus up to 30% for Classes 9 to 12”, HRD Minister tweeted. Ealier looking at the extraordinary situation prevailing in the country and the world, CBSE board was advised to revise the curriculum and reduce course load for the students of Class 9th to 12th.

CBSE on Tuesday rationalises the syllabus by up to 30 per cent for classes 9 to 12 to make up for academic loss during COVID-19 lockdown. On Tuesday Human Resources & Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said that “To aid the decision, a few weeks back I also invited suggestions from all educationists on the reduction of Syllabus for Students 2020 and I am glad to share that we received more than 1.5K suggestions. Thank you, everyone, for the overwhelming response”.

Considering the importance of learning achievement, CBSE decides to rationalize the Academic syllabus up to 30 percent by retaining the core concepts. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) bringing a big respite to students, the syllabus for classes IX-XII is rationalized.
