National Test Abhyas: 30 lakh Mock-Test for NEET & JEE students uploaded, MHRD

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal says about 30 lakh free online practice sessions have been offered to students so far. “After the launch of this app about 30 lakh mock-tests at National Test Abhyas app have been provided to NEET & JEE aspirants in last 55 days”, said Union Minister.  

Earlier National Testing Agency (NTA) launched National Test Abhyas application for android users to help students prepare the national level Engineering & Medical Entrance Examinations. Reviewing the pandemic situation, HRD Ministry welcomes the NTA launched National Test Abhyas application which is helping students preparing for NEET and JEE Main examinations, HRD Minister says. In 55 days more than 30 lakh mock-tests have been facilitated and students are also provided option to download the mock-test & attempt the test anytime suitable to them.

According to National Testing Agency report, thousands of students preparing for JEE (Mains) and NEET examinations are using the application on daily basis, students get a full-length JEE & NEET style mock-test paper on everyday basis. Three hours' time is being given to students to solve the paper at National Test Abhyas app. Students can take the test any time they feel comfortable. The score card also appear on the mobile screen immediately after the test.

Not only this, after the mock test, the correct answer also shown along with the details as students see the correct answer. National Test Abhyas app also determines how much time a student takes solving particular subject questions. The detailed report card of result also appears after completion of mock-test.

Earlier NTA launched National Test Abhyas app can be downloaded from Google Play Store. After downloading the app, Students will require to sign in by entering name, stream, mobile number and email-id. The application is completely secure and doesn’t store any data without student’s permission. The application is launched only on Android platform however, it is also expected that application to roll-out soon for the iOS platform as well, a report said.

JEE Main & NEET Exams:

The JEE Main examination is scheduled from September 1 to 6 and NEET exam is scheduled on September 13. Students preparing on 'National Eligibility Entrance Test or Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2020, can avail facility of 30 lakh mock-tests from National Test Abhyas App. Students can start quiz/ mock-test paper by visiting the official website- nta.ac.in.
