Union Minister of Human Resource & Development (MHRD) taking the final call, postponed NEET and JEE competitive exams to September month. After receiving suggestions from National Testing Agency, HRD Minister Dr Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal announced to further postpone the competitive examinations. The decision is taken in view of the current situation and requests received from many candidates and parents. For the second time the decision is taken to postpone the April scheduled Engineering and Medical competitive examinations.
In his message Minister said "Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone JEE & NEET examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept".
Coming live on Friday Union Minister takes the decision to further postpone the NEET and JEE Main 2020 exams. Earlier Pokhriyal called NTA & experts to submit suggestions and report on competitive exams by Friday. "I have received advise from students and parents over NEET and JEE exams from parents & students", he tweeted on Thursday.
In view of the current situation and requests received from many candidates, Union HRD Minister advised NTA to postpone the NEET UG and JEE Main 2020 exams to September 2020. MHRD notifies the new exam dates through his virtual message. HRD Minister said "i have advised DG NTA to postpone the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2020 to September month.

About NEET UG- NEET UG will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses and other Undergraduate medical courses in approved/ recognized Medical/ Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.
