Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) said on Wednesday it had freed two soldiers from Pakistan in an intelligence operation inside Pakistan’s territory.
“A successful operation was carried out last Tuesday night to rescue two kidnapped border guards who were taken as hostages by Jaish ul-Adl organization two and a half years ago,” the IRGC said in a statement. According to the statement, the soldiers were successfully transferred back to Iran.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affiliated sources claim that Iranian troops conducted an operation in Pakistan’s illegally occupied Balochistan to free kidnapped IRGC troops from Jaish al-Adl, A report published in Turkish Media said.
The operation was conducted last night without the knowledge of Pakistan Military units in the region. Several Pakistani soldiers were killed during the operation who were giving cover to these terror groups sources claimed.

Allegedly, IRGC sources statement said that IRGC intelligence units on Wednesday rescued two remaining Iranian border guards who were kidnapped in 2018 and held in a neighboring country by a Pakistan and Saudi-sponsored terror group’. However, no official confirmation from either Pakistan or the Iranian Government is reported till now.
