Colleges In Maharashtra to re-open from 15 February with 50% attendance: State Minister Uday Samant

The State Education Minister Maharashtra on Wednesday announced that the colleges in the state of Maharashtra can re-open from 15 February with 50 percent occupancy. Minister also said that the 75 percent attendence will also be waived for this year.

After schools for Class 10 and 12, the colleges in the Maharashtra state are set to re-open from February 15, 2021. Colleges in the state to re-open from next Monday, Maharashtra State Education Minister Uday Samant said on Wednesday. The Minister was interacting with the media personnel in Mumbai.

In his statement state Education Minister also said that the Colleges in Maharashtra state will re-open with 50 percent occupancy from 15th February. The rule of minimum 75% attendance also to be waived off for the year 2021, he added.

"Colleges In Maharashtra to re-open with 50% occupancy from 15th February, rule of minimum 75% attendance to be waived off for this year", said Uday Samant, Higher and Technical Education Minister of Maharashtra state.
