More than 6.87 crore beneficiaries have been vaccinated for COVID-19 in India to date. Still, COVID-19 cases are constantly rising in the country and no serious precautions have been taken. Maharashtra has become worst-hit state with 249 deaths.

According to reports, Maharashtra makes a scandalous record with the most elevated number of COVID-19 cases since the episode of the coronavirus pandemic. The state recorded 43,183 cases and 249 deaths to date.

Mumbai stays the most noticeably terrible hit with 8646 cases, the most noteworthy since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pune, Nagpur, and Nashik are a portion of the other most exceedingly awful hit urban communities in the states.

According to reports, Maharashtra is among the eight states in India which account for 84.61% of the daily new Covid-19 cases. 

COVID-19 has also reached the film city as Bollywood celebrities such as Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Arya, Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar & Many more have also been tested COVID-19 positive.
