US lawmakers have certified Joe Biden as the winner of the presidential election. Inauguration of the Joe Biden as US President will take place on January 20. Earlier House of Representatives voted 282 votes in favor of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania.

US lawmakers have formally certified the Joe Biden and Kamla Harris as the winner of the presidential and vice-presidential elections. The certification by the US lawmakers amid the ongoing tense situation in US Capitol, clears the way forward for the inauguration of Joe Bide as President, on January 20.

The development comes within an hour when House of representatives voted 282-138 against attempt to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in Pennsylvania. According to the reports, Biden has now officially US president with Congress affirmation.

After the Vice President Mike Pence's announcement on electoral votes, it gets certified that Joe biden will be the 46th US President, on Thursday. Vice President announced the 306 over 232 electoral votes, affirming Biden's victory in the US elections.
