  1. You must have registered mobile number to update address in your Aadhaar using this update portal.
    Note: Registered mobile number is the number provided at the time of enrolment or updated subsequently.

  1. If you have registered mobile number with Aadhaar, enter your Aadhaar Number to get an OTP (One Time Pin) at that mobile.
    If you have not registered your mobile with Aadhaar or you have lost/do not possess anymore, you will have to visit nearest Update Centre.

  1. Enter OTP and Captcha to login to the Update Portal.

  1. Select/Click the Address Update checkbox.

  1. Fill the fields with the details to be updated in English as well as in Local Language. While correcting Address. Write complete address. The Aadhaar letter with updated address will be delivered at the given address only.

  1. Upload original scanned (with color scanner) copies of PoA documents

  1. Review the data entered & Submit. You can also download /Print your Acknowledgement copy.

You can check if your Aadhaar is generated or updated (In case you have updated at an Enrolment/Update center. You just require an EID (Enrolment ID) to check your Aadhaar Status. The EID is displayed on the top of your enrolment/update acknowledgement slip. It’s 14 digit enrolment number.

To check the Aadhar Card update History, the Aadhaar holder would have to go to the UIDAI website uidai.gov.in and click on Aadhaar Update History. A page will open where he will fill the Aadhaar number or Virtual ID (VID) and the security captcha. Then he will receive an OTP. After he enters OTP, he would be able to see his own Aadhaar Update History.
