'Bloody Daddy' is reportedly the official Hindi adaptation of the French-language film Nuit Blanche. The original has been adapted before in a Tamil-language film led by Kamal Haasan titled Thoongaa Vanam (2015). The film will mark Shahid Kapoor’s first out-and-out action role.

The most anticipated movie of Shahid Kapoor will feature Sahid Kapoor as the lead actor and Diana Penty as the leading actress. Apart from these two talented actors, others like Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, and Rajeev Khandelwal will also be seen in the movie.
The movie is directed by Sultan director Ali Abbas Zafar, and the movie is bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Sunil Kheterpal, Gaurav Bose, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Ali Abbas Zafar.

The storyline of the film will showcase the actor playing the role of a loving father who is on the run to save his child from the mafia.
It is going to be an action saga, and Shahid Kapoor is playing a father who is involved in a lot of blood and gore to protect his child, so the title pretty much suits the film.
The teaser is filled with action sequences, and Shahid can be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. This could be the biggest hit of his career, and all we have to wait for is the official trailer.
Jio Cinema App has taken the Digital Rights to the film and this announcement was made at the event of Jio Studios, which has backed the action entertainer. The release date was mentioned in the power-packed teaser that was exclusively shown to the guests at the event.

Bloody Daddy will release on June 9 and interestingly, it'll skip a theatrical release and release directly online, on the Jio Cinema app.
