Varisu is an emotional entertainer Tamil film which is directed by Vamshi Paidapally. The film is tentatively called #Thalapathy66 as it’s the 66th film of Vijay’s career, creating buzz for its pre-release business. The film is a bilingual movie that is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu and Varisu in Tamil version.

Varisu- About the Film 

In the opposite of Thalapathy, Pushpa and Geeta Govindam fame Rashmika Mandanna is playing the lead role. Alongside the main leads, Prakash Raj, Khushbu, Prabhu, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, R. Sarathkumar, and Sangeetha Krish play the supporting roles, whereas Mahesh Babu has a cameo in the movie.   

Varisu- Star Cast

Varisu is an urban commercial entertainer film that tells the story of a happy and lucky man named Vijay Rajendra played by Vijay. For this character, things changed when his foster father does unexpectedly, and he finds himself in the middle of a multi-billion-dollar business empire.

With Varisu, Vijay is back on the big screen and suffered the setback when Beast failed to live up to expectations. The film is co-written and directed by Vaashi Paidipally a popular director known for his Telugu films like Maharshi, Munna, Oopiri, Brindavanam, and Yevadu.

Vijay action-flick film is soon to be released in theatres in coming to Pongal. The filmmaker has already launched its teaser; however, the trailer release date is not yet confirmed though it is expected to be released on 4th January.

While there has been a lot of buzz among the fans, the creators have remained tight-lipped over the trailer release date though there are a few days only left till the movie hit the theatres. 

Varisu- Release Date 

Varisu is scheduled to hit the theatres on 12th January 2023, which is basically 27 days from now. The release date of the film has not yet been officially announced by the makers as it can only be done post censor board clearance in India.

The advance bookings are opened in the UK where it has given the mandate there that a film’s plot has to be listed by theatres, the film’s synopsis is now out.
