Aashram Chapter 1 received a positive response from the fans and now they cannot wait for Chapter 2. Though the director of the web series, Prakash Jha received a legal notice from Karni Sena that they are hurting and violating the religious values of Hindu people by creating such series with the title Aashram.

In response to this legal notice, Prakash Jha said that  “Who am I to make a judgment on their demand? We had 400 million-plus views for the first season. I think viewers are the best placed to decide on ‘negative goodwill’. Shall we leave it to them?”
