Liger, the movie starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, started out strong on August 25 but later slowed down due to poor reviews. While social media has become an excellent tool to promote one's film, it has also resulted in destroying many films at the box office.

Vijay Deverakonda & Ananya Pandey's Liger generated a lot of hype close to its release, which definitely helped the movie's advance booking. However, after the reviews started pouring in (most of them are negative), the popularity of the movie died down, even among the Telugu-speaking audience.

As per many critics & general public, the movie becomes unbearable in the second half & it does not have a satisfying climax. Both Vijay Deverakonda & Ananya Pandey don't have a huge fan-following the Hindi-speaking belt, which means not a lot could be expected from the Hindi version as well. Liger box office day 2 collection is given here.
