Kaappaan Box Office Collection Day 1: Mohanlal and Suriya Film off to a slow start

Kaappaan movie is one of the most-awaited films of the year and there are two reasons behind it, namely, Suriya & Mohanlal. The film has hit the screens across the world and India on the 20th of September 2019. The fans of the film are very much eager to get the details of the box-office collection of Kaappaan.

According to sources, the film did open to a significant positive response from across the globe. In addition to this, the film did get a positive response from both critics and fans. However, some critics didn't like the film and said that the film is a frustrating film of all time. The occupancy of the film was massive mostly in the Tamil speaking states. According to sources, the occupancy in significant Tamil regions was around 100%.

The estimation suggests that the film did collect around ₹16 Crores across the world. The Telugu version of the film did collect around ₹3 Crores. In the meantime, the Telugu version of the film did collect around ₹13 Crores. The budget of the film is ₹75 Crores and the film need to collect around ₹45 Crores in the first weekend.
