Coronavirus donation: List of celebrities and Donation to relief fund

Several South Indian actors, actresses have donated their part as relief amount to state Govts funds. From Bollywood to Tollywood, Film producers to directors have come forth in this tough time when the country is facing a tough time during 21 days Lockdown across all corners. Actors including Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi and more have immensely donated relief amount as their part and several cinema heroes have donated food items to poor on streets. Master actor Thalapathy Vijay donates Rs 1.30 crore towards the corona relief fund.

As per the report, Thalapathy Vijay has donates Rs 25 lakh towards PM relief fund, Rs 50 lakh towards Tamil Nadu CM relief fund, Rs 10 lakh yo Kerala CM Relief Fund, Rs 25 lakh towards to film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI). Rs 5 lakh each towards the CM relief funds of Andhra, Telangana, and Karnataka apart from Rs 5 lakh to Puducherry.

After the initiation of the PM CARE fund, several celebrities have donated in relief funds. On Tuesday emerging stars Sara Ali Khan, Vickey Kaushal and SOTY famous Alia Bhat donated in PM Modi relief fund to fight against Covid19. Uri Star Vickey Kaushal donated 1 Crore in PM Modi CARES fund started on March 28, to fight coronavirus. Till Now Amitabh Bachchan donate money. 

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar always wins the hearts of people with his generosity. If there are any problems on the country, Akshay Kumar is one of the stars who comes to the forefront and helps people. When the lockdown caused by Coronavirus, he donated a huge amount of Rs 25 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund. Akshay Kumar agains has made donation to various casues amid the lockdown, He has contributed Rs 45 lakh to the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA). Akshay Kumar help daily wage workers who have been hit by the pandemic.

Amitabh Bachchan has provided corona relief coupons for Tollywood daily wage earners. The southern star Chiranjeevi thanked him for the gesture on social networks. Chiranjeevi announced Big B's contribution on Twitter, saying that the latter has arranged for 12,000 corona relief coupons of Rs 1,500 each for the daily wage workers of Tollywood. These have been arranged through the proceedings of the short film, Family.

Raghava Lawrence announced that he will be donating Rs 3 crore from his advance salary to coronavirus relief funds. Actor Raghava Lawrence revealed that he will be contributing Rs 50 lakh each to PM-CARES Fund and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The remaining amount will be donated to FEFSI, Dancer's Union, daily wage workers and physically disabled children in Royapuram, Chennai. Hrithik Roshan is coming forward to help the people in the midst of the epidemic. After distributing the N95 and FF3 masks and deciding to provide food to the people, laborers, cine, TV Artists and deprived people of old age homes across India, Hrithik Roshan has come forward to help the photojournalists associated with the film industry.

- Superstar Rajinikanth has donated Rs 50 lakh for the wellbeing of daily wage workers of the South Indian film industry in the time of complete shutdown owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

- Vijay Sethupathi has donated 10 lakhs for the welfare of FEFSI members. 

- Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu has donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh to combat the spread of coronavirus. 

- Sindhu has donated Rs 5 lakh each to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief Funds.

- Wrestler Bajrang Punia, who works as an OSD in Railways, has donated his six months' salary to the Haryana relief fund. 

- Gautam Gambhir has also offered to release Rs 50 lakh from his Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) fund for the equipment to treat coronavirus patients in Delhi government hospitals.
