Exam Syllabus- For filling MTS 1817 posts DRDO invited Applications from 10th Class pass / ITI candidates in Dec-January 2019-20. Applicants are hereby provided DRDO MTS exam Syllabus, pattern & detailed schedule for Tier 1 Exam- Examination date, release of DRDO MTS Tier 1 Admit Cards 2020 & previous papers. DRDO to conduct Online Computer Based Tier 1 Exam (100 MCQs) with 90 minutes time duration. The more details on DRDO MTS Tier 1 Exam date & syllabus are provided below.
DRDO MTS date of examination will be published on website. Examintion date Tier 1 CBT Test, time & venue of examination will be given on admit card. DRDO CEPTAM MTS 2019-20 CBT 1 e-admit cards will be available on website drdo.gov.in / www.seelatest.com for download / print, preferably 02 weeks prior to examination. Defence Research & Development Organization CEPTAM Multi-Tasking Staff Admit cards will not be sent by post.
Note- Candidates must print (preferably in colour) the admit card and carry it for appearing in examinations. Valid original photo Id (as mentioned in the application form) is mandatory with admit card to appear in the examination.
CBT (Screening Test) will comprise of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability with 35 Questions, General Awareness 30 questions and Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability 35 questions.
There will be total 90 minutes time to be given to applicants. Total 100 Questions will be asked in DRDO MTS Tier 1 Online Exam.
MTS Exam Centre Tier-1 (CBT):
Agra, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Imphal, Nasik, Aurangabad, Indore, Panaji, Bengaluru, Itanagar, Patna, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Port Blair, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Prayagraj, Chandigarh, Jammu, Pune, Chennai, Jodhpur, Raipur, Coimbatore, Kanpur, Ranchi, Dehradun, Kochi, Siliguri, Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, Guwahati, Mumbai, Vijayawada, Gwalior, Mysore and Visakhapatnam.
The selection of MTS post shall consist of MTS Tier 1 (Screening) and Tier-II (Final Selection) as described in Table-1:
A) Tier-I and Tier-II will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
B) The Score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
C) The Tier-I and Tier-II will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
The syllabus of the examinations will be commensurate to essential qualification required for the post. The medium for examination will be Hindi and English.
Tier-I examination is for screening and Tier-II is for final selection.
Screening Test Cut off Marks-
The provisional selection will be based on the merit obtained in Tier-I examination depending upon the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/ESM/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, ESM, MSP and PWD candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, will be considered against the unreserved vacancies as per extant Govt of India orders.
Age Limit - Candidate must be between 18 and 25 Years of age
Application fee is RS 100/- or UR & OBC whereas for All Women/ SC/ ST/ PWB/ ESM: Nil
