The Rajasthan State Government on Wednesday decided to seal its borders due to increase in Covid19 cases in state. In view of current situation in Rajasthan, where the number of Covid19 confirmed cases surpassed 11,000 on Tuesday, State government decided to seal its borders for a week due to a rise in COVID19 cases.
In its statement Rajasthan State Govt on Wednesday announced to seal borders for one week. In same statement officials added that “Only those with valid passes to be allowed”.
Rajasthan State Borders sealed for a week: According to News Agency ANI, the state government took the decision to seal borders from June 11 to 18. Only essential services and holders of e-passes will be allowed entry & exit at state borders including border with Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The decision is taken after sharp increase in Covid19 cases in state in last one week.

According to Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) data, in state, total confirmed cases have reached 11,245. Whereas 2,662 infected ones have been discharged, total 8328 cases are active in state and 255 people have died due to COVID19.
