The makers of the Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham are pleased with the film's advance bookings at the box office. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who played the lead role in the film, revealed some pre-release ticket sales figures on Wednesday. As per his statement, Marakkar has already earned more than ₹100 crores through advance bookings only.

 Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is a Malayalam epic war film. The film is about Kunjali Marakkar IV, the admiral of the Zamorin fleet, and is set in 16th century Kozhikode. Priyadarshan co-wrote the script with Ani Sasi. Antony Perumbavoor produced the film through Aashirvad Cinemas, with Roy C. J. and Santosh T. Kuruvilla serving as co-producers.

The film stars Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Siddique, Mukesh, Nedumudi Venu, and Pranav Mohanlal in supporting roles, as well as Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Siddique, Mukesh, Nedumudi Venu, and Pranav Mo The film had an estimated budget of 85–100 crore.
