UP Police SI Recruitment 2020: PRPB 6130 Sub Inspector posts notification out

UP Police SI Recruitment 2020: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board has released recruitment notification on 6130 Sub Inspector (SI) posts. UP PRPB on 6130 SI posts to invite applications in online mode in coming weeks.  Based on reports, UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board on Monday July 20, released recruitment 2020 advertisement on Sub Inspector posts (Male/ Female), Platoon Commander & Fire Service Second Officer etc posts. It is expected that Application process for the SI posts shall likely begin in August, 2020.

Candidates possessing the Graduate degree in any stream will be eligible to apply for the Uttar Pradesh Police SI recruitment. The required qualification including age criteria, technical qualification & skills etc will be intimated through official recruitment advertisement.

Uttar Pradesh Police to fill the shortage of Sub Inspectors and Ministerial staff in Police Department to begin the recruitment of 6130 Sub Inspector posts. The recruitment advertisement is expected to be released by July end. State government has completed recruitment on nearly 1,37,253 posts since year 2017. The training on 49,568 Constables is underway, the result on said posts was declared earlier in the month of March 2020.

UP Police SI Eligibility:

A candidate should possess Graduate degree from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent.

UP Police SI age limit- Age of candidate should lie between 21 years to 28 years. The relaxation in upper age limit to be provided to SC/ ST/ EXM/ PWD from 3-5 years as per govt rules.

Physical Standard & Eligibility requirements:

• Height: For candidates belong to General / OBC/ SC- 168 cm, whereas for candidates belonging to ST category- 160 cm.
• Chest (Male): For candidates belong to General / OBC/ SC- 79 to 84 cms, whereas for candidates belonging to ST category- 77-82 cm. Expansion of 5 cms will be required.

Selection process:

Selection to the Sub Inspector post will be based on Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test and Medical test. For Ministerial selection posts, selection of candidates will be based on Written exam, Skill Test & Medical test.

Key Dates- UP Police SI recruitment 2020 advertisement is expected to out by July end. Application form shall open in July 3rd Week & to remain open till August 2020.
