Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, June 16 announced that a recruitment drive for 5,000 Health Assistant posts will be started by Delhi Government, from 17 June 2021. The online application link will be activated on 17 June and training will start on June 28, Chief Minister said in his message.
According to the Chief Minister, in view of the possibility of a third wave of COVID-19 several measures are being taken by the Delhi government. In fight against the coronavirus, the Delhi government is going to train and hire a total of 5,000 Health Assistants (HA) to be deployed at nine primary COVID hospitals in Delhi.
GGSIPU (IP University) will provide two-week training to the Health Assistants to work as assistants to the Doctor/Nurse in the hour of need. Here're key highlights of the Health Assistant recruitment 2021-
Delhi 5000 Health Assistant Online Registration:
Delhi Government has started online registration for Health Assistant recruitment 2021 at the official websites - delhi.gov.in and http://health.delhigovt.nic.in.
Total posts: 5,000 posts
Eligibility: A candidate should have passed Class 12 Exam/ Sr. Secondary or equivalent from CBSE or any other board. The minimum age limit is 18 Years, as of the last date of registration.
Training Period: Training of two weeks to be provided to all selected Health Assistants by the GGSIPU or IP University.
Two weeks of training to be facilitated by IP University. Training will commence on 28 June and there will be ten training batches each comprise of 500 candidates. A two-week training will be provided to the selected candidates.
