Politicians & Celebrities React To Deep Sidhu's Death: Here's How the Entertainment Industry Reacted

Deep Sidhu was a Punjabi language cinema actor, barrister, and activist. Deep Sidhu's name surfaced during 26th Jan 2021 flag hoisting incident in connection with farmers' protest. Farmers' unions accused Sidhu and gangster-turned-activist Lakha Sidhana of inciting a disturbance and putting a religious flag on Red Fort during the 2021 Farmers' Republic Day procession. The cops also arrested Sidhu and Sadana. 

Sidhu, 37, died in a car accident on the Kundli-Manesar highway in Delhi on February 15, 2022. Sidhu was driving his Scorpio automobile on the highway when he collided with a parked vehicle. There were three passengers in the car; two died at the scene, and another was injured. Various politicians & celebrities have reacted to Deep Sidhu's death & various stars have expressed their grief through social media.

Chief Minister of Punjab expressed his grief over Deep Sidhu's death & tweeted, "Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of renowned actor and social activist, #DeepSidhu. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family and fans."

BJP Leader & Former SGPC leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, "My deepest condolences to the family and fans of #DeepSidhuPunjab has lost a young dynamic voice today."

Bollywood & Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh also expressed his grief through his official social media handle, as he wrote, "It is very sad that Deep Sidhu Veer left like this. God bless his family"

Sidhu Moosewala also delivered condolences through his official Instagram handle.
