Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Ram Nath Kovind today at the Rashtrapati Bhawan to brief him on matters of national and international importance.
This meet took place two days after the Prime Minister flew to Ladakh to check the ground security level and be filled in by senior officials after the violent clash took place between Indian and Chinese soldiers along the LAC there earlier in June. The clash resulted in 20 confirmed causalities on the Indian side and about 45 reported causalities on the Chinese side. Ever since then, both countries are not on good terms. India even banned 59 Chinese apps recently.

Shortly after the meeting, the Rashtrapati Bhawan tweeted, "Prime Minister @narendramodi called on President Kovind and briefed him on the issues of national and international importance."
The PM’s surprise visit to Ladakh followed by the meet up with the President has aroused suspicions amongst some people. People on Twitter and other social media handles have been trying to link dots and whip theories ever since.
