Farmers' group go-on 'maun vrat' in meeting, ask Govt to reply in 'Yes' or 'No' for repealing farm laws

Another round of meeting between centre and farmers will be held on Monday, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar says. Government has urged senior citizens and children to go home from the protest site.

As the 5th December scheduled meeting between farmer heads and centre government ended unresultant. The next round of meeting has been called on December 9th. According to PTI, Farmers' group adopted 'maun vrat' in the meeting held on Saturday and asked Centre to answer in 'yes' or 'no' to their demand for repealing the new farm laws, Union leaders said after meeting. "Farmers' group go-on 'maun vrat' in meeting, ask Govt to answer in 'yes' or 'no' to their demand for repealing new farm laws", Union leader said.

Centre govt announces next round of meeting on Monday. We can meet the day after tomorrow for another round of meeting,' central government says during the meeting with farmer leaders at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.

However, it was decided at the meeting that the next round of talks between farmer leaders and central government to be held on December 9th, on the request of all stakeholders. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has asked senior citizens and children to go home from the protesting site.
