Farm Bills 2020: 10 Farmer Organizations meet Agriculture Minister, extend support on Agriculture Laws

On Monday, ten farmer organizations from U.P, Kerala, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and other states meet Union Agriculture Minister to extend their support to 3 Agricultural bills, passed this year. Here're the highlights of the meeting-

Ten organisations from various states like Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Bihar, associated with All India Kisan Coordination committee, meet Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, to extend their support on three Farm Bills 2020, passed in September this year.

The organizations meet Union Minister on Monday to extend their support on three Farm Bills, news agency ANI tweets.

Organizations name the farm bills as historic- "After Green Revolution this is the historic act for agriculture sector. A stepping stone in doubling farmers income", sources told See Latest.

Earlier in the day Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told reporters that Government is ready to hold dialogue with the farmers, aside of BKU and other union leaders went on hunger strike demanding repeal of 3 Agri bills they say would only help capitalists.
