Delhi COVID-19 Latest Update: According to health department data, Delhi had 18,286 COVID-19 cases and 28 deaths on Sunday, with the positivity rate dropping to 27.87 percent from 30.64 percent the day before. Delhi had reported 20,718 cases and 30 deaths as of Saturday.
On Thursday, the city reported 28,867 COVID-19 cases and 31 deaths, the highest single-day increase since the start of the pandemic, with a positivity rate of 29.21%.

The previous highest daily increase in Delhi occurred on April 20 of last year, with 28,395 cases. The death toll in Delhi reached 40 on Wednesday, the highest since June 10 of last year, when 44 people died.

There are 2,591 Covid patients in hospitals, according to government data. There are 123 patients on ventilator support among them. Only 2,711 of the 15,499 hospital beds for Covid patients are occupied.
