Coronavirus update: Highest ever spike of 4987 cases in the last 24 hours

As per the latest report of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Highest ever spike of 4987 COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours the total number of positive cases in the country is now at 90927, including 53946 active cases, 34109 cured/discharged/migrated cases, death toll 2872 deaths. COVID19: 120 deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also state that.

There has been a rapid increase in the cases of coronavirus in the country. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, there have been 4987 cases of coronavirus in the country in the last 24 hours. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 120 people have died due to the corona virus in the last 24 hours in the country. So far the number of infected in the country has crossed 90 thousand. 

Coronavirus update in last 24 hours

A total of 90,927 cases have been reported in the country. At the same time, 2872 people have died. According to the Health Ministry data, a total of 90,927 cases have been reported until 8 am on Sunday (May 17) in the country. Of these, 53,946 patients are currently being treated in hospitals, while 34,109 patients have been discharged. In the country, 2872 people have died due to corona. Maharashtra is the state most affected by the coronavirus.

There have been 33 more new cases of coronavirus in Bihar. With this, the total number of corona infections in the state has reached 1178. According to state principal secretary (health) Sanjay Kumar, out of these 33 cases, the maximum 14 cases are from Madhubani district. Apart from this, 6 cases were reported in Samastipur, 2-2 in Jamui and Purnia, and one each in Patna, Bhagalpur, Kaimur and Lakhisarai. 

More than 120 died in the last 24 Hours

According to the Odisha Health Department, 91 new positive cases have come to the state. The total number of cases in the state so far has been 828, the death toll is 5.

A woman who returned to Goa on a special train from Delhi yesterday has tested positive for COVID-19 during rapid testing. so far, 3 passengers who have returned from Delhi have tested positive; 56 more tests underway: Government of Goa.
