PM Modi to address farmers in M.P amid ongoing protests against agricultural reforms. He will virtually address the farmers of Madhya Pradesh at 2 pm via video conference on December 18. PM Modi's address will be telecasted in around 23,000 villages, according to sources.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also be present accompanying state ministers. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister has also directed state officials to ensure that the maximum number of farmers participate in the event, sources confirmed.
The address is expected to have a larger significance given the farmer protests going-on in Delhi at the moment, which has come to involve farmers of U.P, Haryana, and Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, as well as some other states.
