Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced to organise 'press conferences' and 'chaupals' in all the districts of the country. With an aim to spread the awareness among the common masses on the new farm bills, rulling party to hold conferences, starting from December 11, 2020.
According to the Press News Agency ANI, a total 700 press conferences and 700 'Chaupals' to be organised in the coming days. The development comes hours after the media conference chaired by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Commerce and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, in which govt clarifies its stand farm laws 2020.

Answering the question on repeal of farm laws, Union Agriculture Minister has said that 'Govt is open heartedly ready to amend the laws with the consultation of farmer unions'.
