Indian Army celebrating its 72nd Army Day on January 15, 2020 honored its soldiers with Sena Medals. Army Chief MM Naravane honored the award winners also thanked the audiences on Wednesday. After showcasing military equipments & recently developed & inducted war machines in Indian Army, Chief addressed the present audience. From Officers, JCOs & Commanders to Units, Battalions & regiments were also congratulated by the Chief. In his speech Army Chief enlisted the top priorities and requirements of Indian Army. Enlisting bonding with friendly nations Indian Army Chief also wished New Year to nation from Indian Army side.
In Morning celebration started with Army Day parade in Cariappa Parade ground in Delhi cantonment. Gallantry awards and Sena medals also awarded by Army Chief MM Naravane. Highlighted on how tough terrains Indian Army soldiers are protecting on, MM Naravane also paid due respect to soldiers who recently hit by avalanche in Siachen.
