MS Dhoni Next Commentator !! Can Join Test Match Commentary

MS Dhoni approached for Commentary in Test Match- Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni is likely to join the Profession of Cricket Commentator. Mahendra Singh Dhoni who has been on leave since 2019 ICC World Cup Semi-final likely to open his new innings as a commentator in Cricket broadcasting offices. As per reports Cricket broadcasters have sent the proposal to make former Indian Captain and a successful Indian Cricket Team wicketkeeper, into Commentary. But the final recommendations & permissions are yet to be given by BCCI & also MS Dhoni.

Based on report broadcasters have sent the proposal to BCCI and MS Dhoni to join as a Commentator for India-Bangladesh 2nd Test Match at Eden Garden stadium. The Second test match will be first Day-Night test match for Indian Team and has scheduled at Eden Garden in Kolkata.  

The invitation to former Indian Wicket keeper and Captain is sent from the broadcasters’ side but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to give permission.

In a reply to question on MS Dhoni to join as a commentator for Eden Garden 1st Day-Night Match, broadcaster replied that- “yes, we have sent the proposal but no decision has been taken as of now... If BCCI gives the permission then MS Dhoni would be seen doing commentary on day-night test, to be played in Eden Gardens": a BCCI source told News Agency. 

Currently India is playing with Bangladesh at its home, initially Indian team and Bangladesh Cricket team are amidst of 3 Match T20 Series. In opening clash Indian team faced blow and lost to 7 wickets to Bangladesh.  

Indian team has also scheduled the Test Match series with Bangladesh & team’s 1ST Day-Night Test match is scheduled from 22 November onwards.  

About Ind VS Ban Day Night Match- 

In Kolkata- Eden Gardens stadium is set to make history on November 22 by hosting the first-ever day-night pink ball Test match to be played on Indian soil in the presence of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
