Haryana Schools Reopening: Schools in Haryana will reopen for classes 6 to 8 from February first week, said School Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar. Now after the orders from the State Minister all Private, Government, and Govt. aided schools that were closed after a spike of Covid-19 cases in Rewari and adjacent districts, are allowed to reopen for Classes 6, 7, and 8.

According to the state Education Minister, Schools will have to follow all COVID-19 guidelines including wearing face masks, using sanitizers, and maintaining social distancing.

Schools in Haryana had reopened in November following the Unlock guidelines released by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Days after the reopening of schools in Haryana, a spike of Covid-19 cases in the Rewari district compelled the state government to shut the schools again.

In view of the board exams, schools for the students of Class 9 to 12 have already opened in the state. For classes 1-5 schools are still closed and awaiting orders from the state government.
