Schools in Haryana to open on July 27, Directorate writes letter to all District Officers

The Directorate of School Education, Haryana writes a letter to all Block Education Officers to declare the summer vacations in all the schools of the state. With effect of the letter Haryana Government is going to declare summer vacations from July 1 to July 26 & mentions that from July 27, the Schools will reopen in the state. All Block and District Education Officers are requested to ensure strict compliance of orders in their respective districts, letter states. The decision came just after the Central Government announced Unlock 2.0 guidelines for restricting School & Colleges to open till July 31. In the letter Directorate of Education takes call to open Schools in Haryana State from July 27, four days in prior to Unlock 2 guidelines.

The letter has been written to all Block Education Officers, District Education Officers, all District Elementary Education Officers and Block Elementary Education Officers of Haryana state. Specifying the subject regarding declaration of Summer vacations in all Haryana schools, Directorate of School Education, Haryana writes that “Summer vacations in all schools across Haryana state are declared from 1st July 2020 to 26th July 2020. The schools will reopen on July 27, 2020 i.e Monday.

On Tuesday Union Home Ministry released the new guidelines for Unlock 2.0. Under the newly guidelines all Schools, Colleges and Coaching Instutions are directed to stay closed till July 31st, 2020. The decision has been taken in view of present situation due to Covid19.
