Haryana School Re-opening: School-timing changed, to function four hours a day for Teachers

Haryana Government on Tuesday released an official order that allows Haryana schools to function from 8:30 AM to 12:30 pm. With this notice schools can function four hours a day for the teachers. Students on the other hand are not allowed in schools for now.

Schools Re-opening: Haryana Government on Tuesday, June 22 released an order that allows Haryana schools to function for 4 hours per day. According to the order, all schools from Tuesday to remain open between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. The orders have been given to the Directorate of Education to implement across all districts. Officers have also been given instructions to implement at block and district levels with immediate effect.

With this order, the school timings have been changed across the state. Now all schools to operate four hours per day. Only teachers are allowed in the schools. The entry of the students in Haryana schools is still on a halt since the outbreak of COVID-19 cases under the second wave of Coronavirus.

Haryana Colleges on the other hand have been allowed to function with a hundred percent capacity of teaching and non-teaching staff. Intimations to the concerned officers, University Dean, Vice-Chancellors have also been issued in this direction.
