Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to submit CBSE Class 12 result 2021 evaluation criteria in Supreme Court today, June 17. The assessment criteria to be used for the evaluation of marks of 12th Class students shall be unveiled in SC. Earlier Board had canceled class 12 board exams due to a rise in COVID cases across the country on 1st June.

The Apex Court had asked the central board to submit their assessment plans within two weeks. Further, the court had said that it has to go through the objective parameters for the assessment of marks so that if anyone has objections they can be dealt with. The board constituted a committee for framing objective criteria for CBSE Class 12 results for session 2021.

The committee had to submit its report within 10 days lasted on June 14, but reportedly asked for an extension for a couple of days.

According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the CBSE controller of examinations and a member of the committee will analyze and study the data of Class 10, 11 and internal exams and then will compare it with the CBSE class 12 final marks of the students.

Earlier, the Central Board had cancelled its Class 12 annual exams after a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1st June. The board releasing an official statement said that the class 12 assessment will be made as per well-defined objective criteria.
