UPSC IFS Mains 2020: Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) has released the DAF 1 notification for Indian Forest Services (Main) Examination 2020. Commission begins the DAF Registration for IFS Main examination 2020 on November 16, 2020 (Monday). The qualified candidate seeking admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination must apply online through the Commission’s website (www.upsc.gov.in) by filling the Detailed Application Form-1 (DAF-1) and uploading the scanned copies of the required document within the prescribed time limit so that DAF-1 is submitted by the applicant on time at upsconline.nic.in.
The candidates must carry their Photo ID Proof submitted by them while applying for Indian Forest Service Examination, 2020 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 to the Examination Venues for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination alongwith the e-Admit Card in support of their identity. The DAF registration is only open to the candidates declared successful in civil services (prelims) examination, 2020. Login module for online filling of Detailed Application Form-1 by the candidates. Period for filling-up of DAF is open from 16-11-2020 and to remain open till 27-11-2020 (6:00 PM). Earlier, Commission declared the Civil Services Examination 2020 (Prelim) results on October 24, 2020 and shortlisted the candidates for Civil Services and Forest Services Mains 2020 exams.
Candidates applying (Except Female/ SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Net Banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit card.
The Indian Forest Services Main Examination 2020 will be held from 28th February, 2021. Examination will be held at allotted exam centres in Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair, and Shimla.
