UPSC CAPF (AC) Exam Tomorrow, Know What to carry and what not at Exam Centre

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct CAPF Assistant Commandant Examination 2020 on December 20 (Sunday). Candidates appearing for the UPSC CAPF Examination to be held on 20 December, have a look at the belongings they are allowed to take at the exam centre.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination-2020 on the 20th of December all over India. The examination will be conducted following the social-distancing and other safety guidelines rolled-out by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. Approximately 3.3 lakh candidates have enrolled to appear for the CAPF AC 2020 examination scheduled in December 2020. The instructions regarding the examination have been issued to the candidates through the official website i.e upsc.gov.in and through e-Call Letters.

Candidates appearing for the UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Assistant Commandant exam on Sunday, are hereby briefed on the instructions they should follow at the examination centre. What does a candidate need to bring to the examination centre and what not? are hereby shared.

The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Card at the allotted Venue for appearing at the Examination. The candidates are also required to carry along the Photo ID Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for appearing at each Session of the Examination.

It may also be noted that entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination i.e. 09:50 A.M. for the Forenoon Session and 01:50 P.M. for the Afternoon Session. No candidate shall be allowed entry into the Examination Venue after the closure of the entry.

What to Carry at the Examination Centre:

1. Candidates are also advised to bring Black Ball Point Pen as the candidates shall be required to fill the OMR Answer Sheets and Attendance List with Black Ball Point Pen only.

2. Use of normal or simple wrist watches by candidates is allowed inside the Examination Rooms/ Halls.

3. Wearing of mask/ face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed entry into the Venue.

4. Further, candidates are allowed to bring their own hand sanitizer in transparent bottles. Besides above, candidates have to follow COVID 19 norms of ‘social distancing’ as well as ‘personal hygiene’ inside the Examination Halls/Rooms as well as in the premises of the Venue.

What not to carry at the centre? 

Mobile phone, (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smart-watches etc. or camera or Bluetooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device and calculator are banned inside the Examination Hall.

Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against the concerned candidates including debarment from future Examination / Selection, instructions read.

The examination will be held at the following Centres: Agartala, Hyderabad, Patna, Ahmedabad, Imphal, Port Blair, Aizawl, Itanagar, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Bangalore, Jaipur, Raipur, Bareilly, Jammu, Ranchi, Bhopal, Jorhat, Sambalpur, Chandigarh, Kochi, Shillong, Chennai, Kohima, Shimla, Cuttack, Kolkata, Srinagar, Dehradun, Lucknow Thiruvananthapuram, Delhi, Madurai, Tirupati, Dharwad, Mumbai, Udaipur, Dispur, Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam, Gangtok, and Panaji (Goa).
