TNPSC Combined Civil Services-I Examination-2020 re-postponed: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has re-postponed Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services-I Examination (Group-I Services) until the 3rd of January 2021, according to the Sources. TN Public Service Commission also had earlier deferred the Combined Civil Services-I Examination (Group-I Services) to be conducted on the 5th of April 2020 due to CoViD-2019 Pandemic as well. Tamil Nadu is likely to host on the 3rd Date of January 2021 the Combined Civil Services Examination 2020.
The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission would publish on the Website in sync with a Press Notice in the State's Leading News afresh. TN PSC will also inform the Candidates via SMS and E-mail on the Examination Details including Schedule.

TNPSC CCSE-I Exam Hall Tickets: TN Public Service Commission will issue Examination Hall Tickets / Admit Cards prior to commencement of the Combined Civil Services - I (Preliminary) Examination 2020 for the Candidates through Intimation. TN Public Service Commission would live E-Hall Tickets 07 Days before commencement of the Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services-I (Preliminary) Examination (Group-I Services). The Candidates might download their respective Admit Cards from www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net or www.tnpscexams.in.
Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services-I (Preliminary) Examination (Group-I Services) shall be conducted on the 3rd of January, 2021 for Selection to various Posts against 69 Vacancies notified in the Advertisement No. 566 and Notification No. 01/2020 Dated the 20th of January 2020 in reference to the Combined Civil Services-I Examination (Group-I Services) consisting of 03 Stage; viz., Stage-I Preliminary Examination (comprising 200 Multiple-Choice Questions of Objective Type) for 300 Marks.
The Preliminary Examination shall have Aggregate 200 Objective-Type MCQs General Studies (Code No.003) General Studies (Degree Standard) 175 MCQs Plus Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard) 25 Objective-Type Multiple Questions, Total 200 Multiple-Choice Questions.

The Candidates securing Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks out of Stage-I Combined Competitive Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination for Total 300 Marks (viz., 90 Marks (for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs / DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs) and 120 Marks to be obtained by Others (Un-Reserved). The Candidates declared Successful in the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Civil Services Examination would be eligible to appear for the Stage-II: Main Examination consisting of 03 Papers aggregating 750 Marks [General Studies - Descriptive Type (Degree Standard) Paper-I for 250 Marks, Paper-II for 250 Marks Paper-III for 250 Marks]. Those declared Successful in the Main Examination would be called to appear for Stage-III: Interview & Records 100 Marks.
