SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2019 Rescheduled: The Office of Joint Secretary (P&P-I), Staff Selection Commission has rescheduled the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Examination 2019 by preponing the Dates. Refer to the SSC Press Notice issued in reference to Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Examination 2019.
The SSC will conduct the Stenographer Grade 'C' & Grade 'C' Examination 2020 now from the 22nd December 2020 onwards from earlier scheduled on the 24th Date of December 2020 onwards. The SSC will conduct the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Examination 2019 in Socially-Distanced Online Computer Based Examination for the Candidates on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th Dates of December 2020 respectively.
SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' & Grade 'D' Examination 2019 Admit Card: The Commission shall the Candidates E-Admission Certificates 02 Weeks prior to commencement of the Socially-Distanced Computer Based Online Test Format. The Admit Cards issued for Stenographer Grade 'C' (Group 'B', Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade 'D' (Group 'C') for Recruitment in various Ministries / Departments / Organizations in the Government of India, shall consist of 03 Test Sections comprising 200 Multiple-Choice Questions of Objective-Type for 200 Marks. The Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Examination 2019 involves Negative Marking for Incorrect Response / Multiple Answers for each Multiple Choice Questions.
SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' / Grade 'D' Examination 2019 Syllabus: The SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' / Grade 'D' Examination 2019 consists of 02 Parts with 200 Objective-Type MCQs for Maximum 200 Marks with Negative Marking involved therein.
Part-I) General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 Objective-Type MCQs for 50 Marks; Part-II) General Awareness: 50 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type = 50 Marks AND Part-III) English Language and Comprehension: 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks.
a) General Intelligence & Reasoning: This Component includes the Objective-Type Multiple-Choice Questions of both Verbal and Non-Verbal type.
b) General Awareness: This Test Section comprises the Objective Type MCQs aimed at testing the Candidate's Ability General Awareness of the Environment around him and its application to society. The MCQs are aimed to test the Candidates’ knowledge of Current Events and of such matters of Everyday observation and experience in their Scientific aspects, as may be expected of an Educated person.
c) In case of Divyanga / Physically Challenged (especially Visually Impaired Candidates having 40% and above visual Disability opting for scribe, there will be no component of Maps / Graphs / Diagrams / Statistical Data in the General Intelligence & Reasoning / General Awareness Paper.
d) English Language & Comprehension: This Test Section, In addition to testing of Candidates' understanding English Language, its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence formation, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage, etc. His / her writing ability, is also aimed to be tested.
