Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) has offered to provide key study materials to the regular students to prevent the studies of the students getting hampered because of ongoing lockdown restrictions. SOL has taken the step to ensure that the students have required access to all study materials. It has decided to provide its content to the regular college students. On Wednesday it is reported that students of regular Colleges are not coming out satisfactory on Online Classes & before Regular Colleges' exams SOL study material could be more helpful.
Delhi University's School of Open Learning, has written a letter to all DU colleges saying that he can use the textual resource of SOL for regular students. SOL has taken this step so that students' education is not affected due to corona infection. SOL has offered to use its content for regular students of Delhi University. SOL is putting videos of its online classes on its website and YouTube.
Dr. Balaram Pani, Chairman of Delhi University’s School of Open Learning (SOL) has written a letter to all DU colleges saying that they can use the textual resource of SOL for regular students. School of Open Learning is going to upload the video classes online on YouTube and its website from where all the students can access them.
SOL stated that the syllabus of subjects are similar for both regular and distance medium. This can be utilized by all the students whether they are regulated students or are carrying out their studies from their homes. Currently, only the first and second semester undergraduate courses of five subjects are available in SOL
The School of Open Learning (SOL) is one of the centers of the University of Delhi, which teaches about 5 lakh students through free education. Under this, BA, BCom, BA Honors English, BA Honors Political Science and BCom Honors are studied. At the Masters level, Hindi, History, Sanskrit, Political Science and M.Com are taught.
SOL is facilitating undergraduate five-subjects courses & has clarified that the subjects syllabus in both regular and distance medium is one, so it can be useful for both mediums. Currently, only the first and second semester undergraduate courses of five subjects are available in Department.

The online study materials will enable students to pursue their studies and will not harm their education due to the ongoing pandemic and resulting social distancing norms. Earlier, The Central government had announced the closure of all colleges till further notice in the wake of the nationwide lockdown and to prevent the spread of the contagious virus.
