Indian Railways long awaited RRB NTPC stage 1 examination to be conducted in Computer Based Mode, following the proper safety measures. After conduct of JEE Main & NEET exams, Centre shall likely focus on resumption of pending recruitments especially in the Indian Railways. It is being said that National Recruitment Agency (NRA) may conduct Railways RRB NTPC Stage 1 examination by year end. However, the official confirmation on selection of NRA from RRB Chennai, is yet to come.
Taking a leaf out of JEE & NEET examinations being held in September month, Agency shall allow candidates to wear face masks/ hand gloves while appearing for the Railways examination. Use of face masks, hand sanitizers and hand gloves to be made compulsory for all candidates and a SOP in this direction would be available from the side of RRB Chennai and Exam Conducting Agency (ECA).
Candidates would be allowed only, wearing face masks, gloves and having own sanitizers & transparent water bottle. It should be noted that for the management of social distancing, the number of exam centres, exam shifts would be increased. A proper sanitization would be made across all examination centres and for the safety of students at all entry points thermal scanning would be done.
The Railways RRB NTPC CEN 1/2019 examination will be conducted following the social distancing and other Centre government’s guidelines. A detailed Standard Operating Procedure will be released elaborating the examination requisites, instructions to students and Examination organizers. RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam (stage 1) shall be conducted in multiple shifts, at more than 600 examination centres across the country. ECA would conduct likely by the year end, and admit card would be issued at official websites of concerned RRB & other Railway Recruitment Boards, an official statement reads. Items permitted into the venue for candidates-
Candidates will be permitted to carry only certain items with them into the venue.
a. Mask (Wearing a Mask is Compulsory)
c. Personal transparent water bottle
d. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
e. A simple pen
f. Exam related documents (Call Letter/Admit Card, ID card in Original, Photocopy of ID Card, etc)
g. Call Letter/Admit Card should be brought with the Photocopy of the Photo ID stapled with it. Original ID (same as Photocopy) is also to be brought for verification. The name on the ID and on the Call Letter/Admit Card should be exactly the same.
h. In case of Scribe Candidates – Scribe form duly filled and signed with Photograph affixed.
