NTA withdraws JEE (Main) 2021 Schedule, Fresh Notification today at 6 PM

The National Testing Agency has withdrawn the Joint Entrance Examination-2021 Schedule, which commenced on the 15th Date of December-2020 onward to the 15th of January 2021 due to the reasons known to them. The National Testing Agency post-Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal Address shall renotify Fresh JEE (Main) Schedule-2021 this Evening.

JEE (Main) 2021 Schedule: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has withdrawn the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2021 Schedule including the Online Registration of Application. Online Application Process following the NTA Notification issued. The National Testing Agency were to conduct in February 2021 the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2021. The Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal shall renotify new JEE (Main) 2021 Schedule this evening at 1800 Hours. The National Testing Agency shall reschedule the Registration and follow up Events including Key-Dates in this regard, which would be published/displayed on the Website. Press Release in regard thereto shall also be notified through the Leading Newspapers as well          

The Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2021: The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD); now known as the Ministry of Education, Government of India (GoI), has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an Independent, Autonomous, and Self-Sustained Premier Testing Organization under the Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting Efficient, Transparent and International Standards Tests in order to assess the Competency of the Candidates for Admissions into premier Higher Education Institutions.

The National Testing Agency has been entrusted the Responsibility of conducting the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) from 2019 onwards by the Department of Higher Education (DHE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) (now known as the Ministry of Education), the Government of India. 

JEE (Main) 2021: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) consists of Two Papers. The Paper-1 is conducted for admission into Under-Graduate Engineering Programs (B.Engg./ B. Tech) offered by the National Institutes of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions / Universities Funded / Duly Recognized by the Participating State Governments, as well as an Eligibility Test for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), which is conducted for Admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). 

JEE (Main) Objective: The JEE (Main) shall be conducted in Multiple Sessions (February / March / April / May 2021) for Admission in the next Academic Session. The Candidates will, thus, benefit in the following ways: 

01) This will give the Candidates multiple opportunities to improve their Scores in the Joint Entrance Examination if they fail to deliver their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole Academic Year. 

02) In the first attempt, the Students would get a First-Hand Experience of taking the Joint Entrance Examination and will know their mistakes, which they can improve while attempting for the next time.

03) This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and Droppers would not have to waste a Full Year. 

04) If anyone missed the Joint Entrance Examination due to the reasons beyond control, then he/she will not have to wait for one Full Year. 

The Student’s best of the JEE-2021 NTA Scores would be considered for preparation of Merit List / Ranking for Admission in Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology Courses offered by the Indian Institutes of Technology.
