After cancellation of CBSE Board remaining examinations scheduled from July 1 to 15 and postpone of CBSE CTET July examination, it is being predicted that there shall be no examination take place in the month of July. Human Resource & Development Ministry after taking decision on CBSE examinations has hinted over the other examinations as well. Ministry has signalled over the July scheduled NEET UG and JEE Main Examinations and called a high level review meeting probably the decision on postponement or cancellation of examinations shall take place.
Among the July scheduled examinations which are on the verge to get postpone or cancel, are Universities final semester / year exams, NEET & JEE Main examinations etc. Based on sources the Universities’ examinations have higher possibility to get cancelled & students in this scenario shall likely promoted on Internal Examinations & last semester/ year’s performance.
According to reports, in recent days HRD Ministry taking the cognizance of real time situation has directed University Grant Commission (UGC) to prepare new calendar for academic activities and examinations. UGC has formed a committee which is likely to bring suggestions in this matter, the report said.
Several Universities schedule for examinations which were planned in first half of July month, are postponed in reviewing the unfavourable situation. From Delhi University to Panjab University the examinations have been postponed till further orders. Chief Minister of Punjab Capt Amrinder Singh on Sunday announced that examinations of all Universities are postponed till July 15, 2020.

June 29, 12.01- Kerala Technical University (KTU) postpones all exams including final semester exams which were scheduled to begin from July 1, due to COVID19 pandemic.
June 28, 5.17 PM- Punjab state University exams postponed.
Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh today announced postponement of exams for Exit classes in all universities of the state till July 15. Several state and Central Universities have been recommended by UGC to promote students without holding examinations. In suggestions UGC asked MBA, B.Tech Colleges & Universities to consider the option to promote students on Internal & last semester performance basis. However, the final decision is left on Universities. It is also expected that in high level meeting scheduled on Monday UGC to reach to a consent with State & other Universities.
