State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State has announed new exam dates for MHT CET 2020 for PCB & PCM categories. Cell to conduct MHT-CET 2020 starting from 1st October 2020. For PCB category Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) to start from 1st of October 2020 whereas, for PCM the exam to commence from 12th of October. After Receiving an official permission to conduct CET and announcement of dates for CET from the Higher and Technical Education Department, CET Cell on Wednesday announced the revised dates of MHT CET 2020 at website.
Taking to the official website mahacet.org, Cell has released the revised dates for the MHT CET 2020. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2020 now will be conducted on fresh exam dates for Technical Education Courses- B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy/ Pharm.D and Agricultural course in participating institutes/ colleges. Students who have applied for the MHT CET 2020 can check out the new exam dates for PCM/ PCB respective categories from the website mahacet.org.
The examination will be conducted at various centres across the Maharashtra as well as outside Maharashtra State in Online mode (Computer Based Test) from 1st October 2020 to 9th October, 2020 and 12th October, 2020 to 20th October, 2020 for PCB and PCM group separately. Earlier the MHT CET examination was proposed in the month of April 2020, which later postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic and successive Lockdown restrictions.

Syllabi of MHT CET 2020 for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, is declared by Director, Technical Education, Mumbai. The questions will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. 20% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XI syllabus and 80% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XII syllabus while setting the question paper. Duration of the test for PCM is 180 minutes and PCB is 180 minutes. There will be no negative marking, the questions will be mainly application based. MHT-CET will be conducted in two groups i.e. PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). The question papers are multiple choice questions (MCQ) having 4 options and the question.
For downloading Admit Card, Candidate should visit the website mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in. The candidate can download his/her admit card for MHT-CET 2020 from his/her Log-In ID likely in 3rd/ 4th week of Sept, 2020.
